Shoba completed her graduation from College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab and M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing from Jamia Hamdard. She has additional post-graduation in Psychology and Psychotherapy and counselling. She has varied professional experience of over 16 years that ranges from working in a clinical set up to educational institutes to NGOs to a corporate setup and in varied roles from a clinical instructor to an assistant professor in different nursing institutes. During her stint in the educational area she has taught both the undergraduate students as well as the trained nurses. She has also worked at Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) and FHI 360. She has tried to put her writing skills to use by working as a Medical Content Editor at Milliman India Pvt. Ltd an independent actuarial and consulting Firm. She is currently co-authoring a book on Psychology for B.Sc. Nurses and has also contributed to the book on “Quick Review Series for B.Sc. Nursing I year”. She is also the editorial Board member of “Journal of Psychiatric Nursing” by Red Flower Publication and reviewer for International Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Research.  She has published articles in different journals and participates as resource person in different workshops. Other than writing her other interests include reading, listening to music and spending time with my pet. Having a pet at home can be a great stress buster. Shoba’s current role at Bodhi includes supporting the team in development of digital learning modules and other products, liasioning with stakeholders that include the nursing council, college and hospitals, resource allocation and project management. She has also helped develop the Eye Care OT technician course and the SMARTHIRE product.
