Curriculum For This Course

Suctioning is a technique to clear airway passage off secretions that a patient is otherwise unable to cough out. Nurses have a great responsibility regarding airway management of a patient, also they need to possess good clinical skill and knowledge to perform this procedure and make patient comfortable.

This part of the module explains the theoretical and practical skill required in performing suctioning for a hospitalised sick client.
